AS 355 Type Rating

Course Description
The AS355 Type Rating course caters for pilots with and without existing Twin Engine ratings. Both levels comprise technical ground instruction together with an appropriate number of flying hours.

Course Detail

• Initial Twin Rating Course

In addition to 3 days technical instruction this course includes 8 hours flying
plus test.

• Additional Twin Rating Course

For pilots already qualified on a twin engine helicopter, the course consists of 3 days technical instruction and 3 hours flying plus test.

Course Duration
Initial rating: 7 to 10 days.
Additional rating: 5 days.

Both courses lead to AS355 Twin Rating
